My Purpose

Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously.
— Hunter S. Thompson

I am unapologetically apologetic. I can be haphazard and chaotic. Moreover, my friend Kellen says I am a walking contradiction. Aside from the fact he is probably right, the one thing I can commit to is adventure. It's the chance encounter with someone who knows the one priest in a small Italian town, who ferments the best root liquor around- so what if it's not exactly legal. Maybe it's the coincidence I'll sit next to a New Yorker on my flight, who spends half her time in Buenos Aires, and agrees to show me the nightlife while my host is working that ignites my drive to conquer. And so what if I randomly jump off a 40m cliff to ensure I'm still young, able and alive. You would too if you had to. It is the decent into the rabbit hole of the cities I've never known and the people I've never met that makes me feel small enough to grow from experience.

I learned from him that often contradiction is the clearest way to truth.

It is my dream to share my journeys with the world and introduce you to people and places once unknown. There is nothing like getting lost and then rediscovering yourself, depending on the kindness of others to show you the way home and then doing it all again the next day. I travel so I can grow and learn. Hopefully, by reading about my experiences, you will as well.

I am not the same having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world.
